Has anyone realized that many parts of the world have not been covered in the media? South America, Central America, Italy, Germany, et al.....

Yes some of these different areas have been covered by the media. I have been watching ABC and CNN all day. There was some celebrations in Indonesia that was covered. Also the Vatican in Rome had a huge celebration where the Pope spoke the crowd. Their was a celebration at the Brandenburg gate in Berlin, in Germany that was also covered. Right now CNN is having a piece on Caracas in Venzuela, they did have a nice piece on Rio de Janerio, CNN, in Brazil. Also one station had a piece on Buenas Aeras (Sp?), Argentina where there was celebrations but also a human rights protest going on. Yes between the two quite a few places has been covered and Thank God that there has only been a very few minor Y2K glitches occuring anywhere in the world, at least for what has been reported. What is so heart warming is the world's unity and peace, etc. been seen at this time. I hope it is something genuine and it can lead to a better future for all of us.
