It was supposed to be "America's 99.9% OK, rest of world is worse" -- what if it's inverted? NM

Phil says to say something. OK, Phil, I love your software. I'm gonna learn PERL or whatever and try it out after I get over HTML.

OK, so it's a long-shot reversal. Just trying to cover the bases here.

Thanks for the kind words. Actually what you have to study mostly is Oracle and SQL. Everything else is a detail (though sometimes an annoying one, as you witnessed the other day when we had to shut down this forum to change the system architecture a bit). Read Chapter 3 of http://photo.net/wtr/thebook/ !

I probably did already, Phil, -- I'll be back for a refresh. But I recall being led there by a circuitous route from the website of a certain young semi-geek lady, name forgotten for now. Plus having the photos and text at the bottom of forum screens makes it easy to get back for new installments.

Actually your book was a good window to keep open and click on for when my wife comes in to look over my shoulder; lots of good IT bafflegab I can point to as part of scoping out my next venture into gainful employment.

Thanks for responding and for being here for us, but are you getting tired of hearing things like that yet? Then I'll just stop and say it's nice to vicariously think of Cambridge once in awhile though I can't say I miss it or the places I've actually lived around it (Concord, Lexington, Needham, Lowell).

Phil? Posting on the board? What an honor. Happy New Year's, Phil.
