Ed, any info coming in from your contacts in the industry?

I'm just wondering if you have been getting any feedback from your programmer friends and contacts in the computer industry. It is probably too soon since the roll-over hasn't hit the USA yet. Possibly later you could let us know what you have heard.?

Todd,

I just downloaded the latest Virex update, installed it, and ran a virus check on my machine. I'm a little less worried about viruses right now than I am about tomorrow's situation...

To answer K Taylor's question: the only thing I've heard, aside from the "official" reports, was from a friend who works at Hawaii Electric. He reports that India and Thailand are using the same "control system" (I can guess what he means by that, but don't know precisely) as they are; the implication was that Hawaii Electric sold or leased some of their software systems to utility companies in those other two countries. Anyway, the initial report they've received is that India and Thailand have had a successful rollover, which bodes well for Hawaii.

Or Ed turned his system off and isn't surfing around asking for viruses

Thank you Ed for responding. I hope you will keep us posted on any further reports you receive.
