Seems like if Malcom isn't up to his butt in alligators, that he would be on here. Taz

Taz

I had forgot about him... Yeah.. I think he'd be here if he could unless he's too busy partying... But I thought he said he'd check in? Hope he's not down. Course, maybe he didn't realize that TB2000 is back up and running... we may have lost a lot of valuable posters who don't realize we're back up and going.

Malcolm found his way to the chat room, Thursday night, so he knows how to find us, even if he doesn't know the board is back up.

He also mentioned that his would be one of the faces you'd be seeing on the TV, to report rollover happenings, so logging onto the internet right now, might not be an option for him ;-)

I'd give him a few more hours, before declaring him M.I.A.

Hi Taz, RC and Bok: Yes, I'm here, but I'm finding it very hard to access this server at times. I'm at work in our area control room where all is very quiet (and I can't access the chat room because of our firewall).

We have had a power outage locally which I have already reported on to Rick Cowles on MSNBC, but it was not Y2K related. Some idiot tried shooting a pole mounted insulator on a line from this power station to our small town, and at 00:41 the lights went out. But power was restored an hour later.

In our company we have experienced one failure which is Y2K related, and I also reported that one to the electricity forum as soon as it happened. It is in a non-critical business system and does not affect power production in any way. It just means that some clerk in our head office has to collate a daily report by hand instead of simply clicking with a mouse.

Malcolm
