Maybe it's just me, but today I enjoyed knowing how many answers had been posted.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

After this site dropped off the face of the earth, at least it felt that way to me. I was definitely having a withdrawal problem. Kind of one of those things I expected to always exist.

Silly me, anyway, Lisa started a forum which was found by a good number of regulars here. Refreshing to say the least. Almost felt like I could let out a breath after I found it. (Thanks again Lisa)

Back to the point, can the software she used, be incorporated here? Specifically how many answers are posted to a certain thread. Turned out to be easy to tell if I had visited a link previously. Very, very helpful. Any chance of adding that feature/function here?

Lets just get through the roll-over here before we add any more bells and whistles. I for one am just glad that the forum is back in business at all. (many thanks to all who had a hand in keeping us going.)

I hear ya! Just a thought, it was handy though.

...But I hated that you didn't know who the poster was before you clicked on it. I didn't realize how much that matters.

Michael,

When you are on the main TB2000 page you will see a link to "new answers" which takes you to a page where all of the answers are tallied, and most recent responses go to the top. This is the way most of us regs have been doing it all along.

Also Michael, my browsers have a feature that changes the link color on threads that I have visited, so I can keep track of the ones I like. You should be able to set this in your options. I have it set for 7 days because that is how long the threads remain on the "recent answers" page. The recent answers page is good because the most active threads keep popping back to the top, and occasionaly you can go back to the main page to see if there are any interesting new ones.

Thanks Hawk, that't the route I will take from this point on.
