I know that many of you had to work extra hours on your own time, with your own resources to bring this "community" back up.

I think that many of us have seen that being part of a group is no longer restricted to area. One can become a member of a "community" simply by interacting with the folks there.

This forum is a good example. We have people here from all walks of life. Not all of us believe the same things, or the same things to the same degree. And yet, we gather here on a "regular" basis to exchange thoughts and ideas.

For folks like myself, who work odd hours and are, in effect, isolated from "normal" forms of communication and interaction, places such as these keep us from going off the deep end. (Some lurkers here will LOVE that! :))

Here's to wishing the best for all here. Who knows, even if we may only have a few more hours until the moment of truth, it is time I will enjoy spending with some of my new found "friends".
