another note on an alternative site

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

After getting some emails and sending Lisa's email address to several people, it dawned on me I should just post it here. Her email address is no secret, and she really wants to keep security tight, so it is best to just go directly to the site creator, Lisa Zach.

Lisa Zach - lisa@texasnetworks.com

Hope to save myself some work in email replies.

Thanks. I realize that there are several alternatives that people will go to and CSyear2000 is a good one. However, Lisa's is expressly for our community and some people might prefer that. Also, it is more secure. So just take your choice if this one goes down, at least we will find each other.

Phil and two other programers are working feaverishly behind the scenes right now. The software is still in the process of stabilizing on the new machines.

Following Phil's advice, we will do "whatever" is best to protect his servers.

Looks as if Diane and the greenspin bunch are afraid of a little competition. I wonder if this forum would have come back up as quick if there had been no alternative......hhmmmmmm.

Diane, why are so afraid of the other site?
