Can we have CONSENSUS to let SYSOPS clean up non-info-bearing threads fairly ruthlessly this weekend? NM

And just to elaborate my own question, we could use LABELS to identify threads like "CHAT: About power outages in Atlanta and Cleveland" in order to concentrate number of threads.

Also label "NEWS: blah blah blah" for quick scanning of threads menu.

You can imagine how fast the threads will be piling up (and how fast the Sysops will have to be fighting off the trolls). Let's help make the reading and sysoping easier -- I never took that speed-reading course so I'm gonna miss a lot otherwise.

Suggestions?

Ditto.

Sounds like wisdom.

Sysops, can you all do this for us? We'd be grateful!

I say no, let the foolish fun fly; let Sysops relax. Good grief, it's almost over.

The idea is to lessen the load on the system, not on our little cerebral processes. Let the DELETE button fly where it may.
