Thanks To Phil for getting the Forum back up!!!greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread
As I understand it the bots that are digesting the forum were disabling the greenspun forum which is used by many other folks on the net and not just Y2Kers.
Ed Yourdon and Diane have been in contact with Phil to straighten out the mess and I for one am glad to see it back up.
Hopefully we will respect the fact that this is not a hobby of Phil's to keep up this forum, it is not in his best interest, but he chose to do it regardless of his beliefs (or lack of them) regarding serious Y2K failures.
We use the bulk of his system and it is hard to find anything that is comparable (try debunkers? gag)
So lets respect the system we work with and have a informitive rollover.
Stay safe and keep your liners dry folks!
