Hello amigos.

This Christmas, I received a brand new Pioneer DV-525. And as advertized, it play all the CD-Rs I had tried. Just one to share with you the bands of CD-Rs I had played. 1) Sony - Green. 2) Verbatim - Blue, Yellow and Green. 3) Office Max Brand ( I guess they are Verbatim ) - Silver 4) Hewlett Packard - Yellow. 5) TDK - Yellow.

Also want yo ask you ( I know that here are many owners of this DV Player ) if you can tell me where can I found information on how to convert this player to MULTIREGION ? I can do it by my self if necesary.

Thank you in advance and Happy New Year to all of you.

If bought in Europe (except UK) or Asia the DV525 is nearly always codefree. Have you actually tried playing various region code DVDs yet?? In the US there are electronic stores with websites that change your player to codefree status.
