I was wondering if anyone could help me with knowledege of Poe's psycological thoughts. What were his fears, obsessions, and temperament... any info on his " psychological profile" would be helpful. Also, if any examples about these things were prevalent in his writing, it would be helpful... quotes, characters behavior, or themes in his writings. Thank you all so much- if you could help me ASAP I would be forver indebted to you! : )

For a while he lived onth streets. The girl he loved didn't marry him bacause her father did't like him. HE married his own cousin. She died and he had to take care of her mother. Barely could afford money. He was honored for his writtings at the time. His love bacame a widow and married her. But he died a week later of a disease. So his life was sad. That is how come his writtings are so gloomy and mysterious. NICE STORY, HUH?
