Charlotte N.C. 911 system malfunctioned on test...stated though that all emergency personell were able to be contacted timely.

Yeah they said that the calls to 911 are okay but the dispatching the information to officers is still not working correctly. So you can call, but they can't send anyone out for you yet. They are going to restest the system today and tomorrow.

No sense rushing things. Houston had their failed test a couple of weeks ago, it even made the local news!
