One final revealing comment. Please read, KOS!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : HumptyDumptyY2K : One Thread

Now that the end is near, I don't really know if I will be back here, so please excuse me if I'm feeling a little sentimental. I am a 2-year lurker (from the beginning) and occasional poster. I have always posted with my gender-neutral handle, so I have never been asked to MUDWRESTLE! I am a fine-looking, healthy, GI woman in my middle-years, and a proposition from KOS is one of the few things lacking in my life.

Anyone else?

Well, if it wasn't for the fact that I now have a girlfriend, I'd be all for it! How do you feel about body paints? Jello?

It's like not being asked to the prom. Or softball in gym class where they said, "OK, I'll give you Bobby and Laura if you take her." Just when we nerds were gaining respect, it's going to all fall apart and we will be back on that *&%#$ softball team. Pam

yep I'm game

Stop!!! I worded that very poorly. Actually, I meant to say "Are there any other incognito females who regret not having heard from the King of Spain! All regular posters have been such a constant in my life, I feel like I know you. I will always remember you all with gratitude. God bless!

Cheryl, I haven't been asked either, but then maybe the King doesn't care for middle-aged, red-headed, little fat ladies??? (ME, being the MARHLFL, not you.) Maybe he'll take you up on your offer though :)

It always seemed that the King cared more about inner beauty (and possibly GI status)!

Been GI since 1991....would that help???

-- justme (justme@myhouse.com), December 29, 1999.

I'd mud wrestle you KOS, but I'm kinda weak..so I'd need a few other women on my side with me,...is that okay?

-- kritter (kritter@adelphia.net), December 29, 1999.

Yes, I'm on the list of females scorned who have not been propositioned by the King. However, I was never clear whether he intended to involve himself in the wrestling or just, as I fear, watch. So how about it, KOS, end of the year, are you ever going to fess up? Inquiring women want to know!

-- Brooks (brooksbie@hotmail.com), December 29, 1999.

Okay King, time for a showdown! All interested parties meet at Gilly's Bar in Ft Worth, Texas, Saturday January 8th, 7pm. KOS, BE THERE OR BE SQUARE.

All interested contestants RSVP to KOS. (just trying to help) :-)

Cheryl,

Alas, I have also been spurned by the mighty KOS. :-( I even have Mazola oil to spare, in case it's too cold for mudwrestling...

Perhaps we should start a self-help group? Any suggestions for the group name? ;-)

Cheryl

I too have felt some what the wallflower in that I have never been asked by KOS. Justme - I too fit the category MARHLFL although I am more blond than red head. And I 've got all this Crisco in my preps too! (uh oh - there goes that middle-aged thing showing again - remember Crisco parties from the '60's - the memory is enough to make one weep!)

KOS has provided such a delightful off-the-wall counterpoint to our worries. I thought he was a weirdo at first, then really began to appreciate his irreverent humor!

BTW, KOS, I'm too old to muswrestle. sigh........

-- Sher (sher777@bellsouth.net), December 29, 1999.

Sher....you're NEVER too old to mudwrestle

-- justme (justme@myhouse.com), December 29, 1999.

Whew! I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one neglected by KOS.

Me too,

But handle may have sounded to masculine....Too bad, his loss!

*sigh* another unpropositioned one here. KOS, you'd have to wait til spring anyway, for the mud to thaw up here in Canada. But I really need to know, are you planning to participate to just watch??? Please, my respect for you depends on the answer. :)
