Is this true: CNN reports 2 weeks to months problems ... can any one confirm this?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : HumptyDumptyY2K : One Thread

I picked this up from the hyatt forums. Can any one else confirm this or give any more details about what was said.

FROM HYATT FORUM:

At 7:30 AM PDT on CNN Headline News, they reported that the Y2K problems will last 2 weeks or may continue for months.

REPLY ON HYATT FORUM:

I had CNN on for over an hour this afternoon and they were reporting on Y2k alot. They talked about celebrations be canceled, about glitches that have happen in the last couple months and about terrorist taking aim at certain cities.

For months now we hardly hear the news channel talk about y2k and now I hear nothing but. Now that it's on the late side for the low income families to prepare. If you have the money it may not be a problem. I also heard that hoarding had not been a problem.
