Is anyone else constantly getting errors and being kicked out?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I keep getting an error has occurred and then I have to reconnect. It happened like like 5 times in a row. Just constantly, all of a sudden. Can anyone tell me what is going on?

I had to reboot after trying to access the "Why was C41 deleted" may be a virus plant.

Who knows, how many hours now?

Make sure you hold down the "Shift" key before clicking on each thread (this will bring up another window), it is much easier on the server and will speed things up for all of us.

Thanks,

This just started about a week ago and it is driving me nuts. Just when I get something written or read a good thread it show error..Something definately fishy about it. Thanks for the clue about the shift key.

Yep. Had to exit and access again later. Was thinking to myself -- "Ah-hum: this is how the connection will finally be lost, and I'll be wondering to myself "Was it Y2K?????" .

Yup, it has been funny the past few days, but seems to be OK a few minutes later.

Maybe we're "under attack" in more ways than one...

Yes, I've been having similar problems for days now, only on this forum. This past weekend I was perusing the archives and noticed something that gave me a start...threads from Oct/Nov/Dec of 1999 were mixed in with threads from Oct/Nov/Dec of 1998. Now, that's enough to make me wonder...

I keep about three screens open. When one goes TU, I switch to another.
