Software to generate web page thumbnails?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

I'm looking for a software program that can build Thumbnail indexes and post them to my web page. I tried tumbs plus, but it would not read my photos. (Stored as MGI Photosuite images in a JPEG format.) Pictures are from an Olympus D340R and seem to be fine when opened in Photoshop and Quick Time Picture Viewer. I have a PII 400mhz computer running Win95 if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance. Mike

A very basic program that will create a thumbnails jpeg file is Lview or Lview Pro. I think it is either freeware or shareware.

I have used a program called Thumb IT it is freeware it will not make the page but it will make the thumbs and you can manually put online. It excepts most all formats to include PSP formats

I have a question for you too how do you like your D340 camera please email me answer

I use Thumber from Max Lyons. Don't have his URL handy, but we've regularly posted notices of his updates on our news page. Try the "search" button at the top of the news page...

You mentioned Photoshop in your question. You can make an action that can be used as a batch to process a whole folder full of images!
