OT: Apology to "R.C."

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I was rude with comments made yesterday (or the day before). I apologize. The work you put in on your oil post was impressive, to say the least.

Bob,

I missed your comments, but it takes a helluva lot of integrity to offer a public apology.

Kudos Bob, I think his other detractors should also come out of the woodwork on this thread too.

Bob,

Apology accepted... I'm not sure it was necessary though... My problem is trying to determine who's a polly trolling for attack and who are the genuine folks searching for information. It's sometimes hard to know isn't it? Thanks for posting this...and thanks for your question on the report thread itself. Sorry I couldn't get it sooner and I'm sorry I couldn't get that last source contacted to come forward publicly. Also, I shouldn't have said anything earlier...but that quote by the engineer on nukes really had me going too and I wasn't thinking anything other than "wait til the forum catches onto this one." Thanks again to you and to everyone for their input not just on my post but for participating throughout the countdown.

Well, it got *us* going. We rush-ordered 2000 doses of KI which we'll be sending to our relatives (fingers crossed on USPS working OK next month).

You are all a great bunch of guys, and it is such a pleasure to be associated with you in this manner. Not only is it entertaining, but extremely educational. I have come across more knowledge and wisdom on this board in the last several weeks than the previous years that I have been with this computer thing. I really do respect all of you and pray to God above to richly bless and protect you in the days, weeks, months, and yes years ahead. God Bless you

I almost responded last night about the Nukes part. Boy did it catch my eye.
