Naperville Illinois sets up bunker for 20 town employees and Mayor.

They showed on local TV the y2k bunker for this large suburb about 40 miles west of Chicago. Camera panned bunk beds, MRE's, desk nameplates of various municipal officials, wall charts all converted from an existing "cold war" fallout shelter.

The said they had enough food and water for 30 people for 3 days!

Hmmm, (30 x 3)/20 = 4.5 days of food for 20

Sounds like they are survivalists, with a bunker mentality. Better report them to the New York Times for ridicule.

Naperville is a yuppie town of about 70,000 (my guestimate) with alot of high-tech firms HQ'ed there or nearby.
