Wiliam Wilson can be viewed either as the narrator's "conscionce" or as a "double", dapending on the reader's tendency to view him.

I am currently studying William Wilson at college and I can give you a summary, but I would appreciate if you get any more info on it if you can e-mail it to me. William wilson is a story about a boy who has issues with who has control over his will. Hence, all the Will's in his name william wilson, of course that is not his real name. Wilson does not listen to his parents from a very young age. He goes to a boarding school where he meets a kid with the same name as him who looks like him and acts like him except this other william wilson talks with a whisper. anyway this guy has the same birthday and everything this creeps out william wilson (the original one) so he leaves the school. The second william wilson follows him around showing up every time he is going to do something bad. Finally in the end the first william wilson kills the second william wilson. Now it is up to you to decide if it is just his conscience or another person.
