Has anyone heard of any plans -- or can think of any technical reason *not* to manufacture -- a combination Digital/Photographic film SLR camera? It's an intruiging idea...

I believe such a thing already exists. But it is in the area of Professional Cameras a 35mm SLR with an optional digital back. Problem is, they cost somewhere betwee 5 and 20 thousand dollars.
