Serious chat room?greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread |
I'd like to find a serious chat room that is discussing the Y2000 issue. I have looked, but I can't find one. Does anyone know of one? URL would be appreciated. Thanks all......Peace

Personally I stay away from Chat rooms, I heard that somebody planted a virus in them. Did not look up the particulars, I just started shunning them. I do not have the URL, or link, this is just from memory, sorry.

Usually this is a very serious forum. Just some of us have a terminal case of giggles tonight. Could be Y2k stress related?

Star, why not start your own serious chatroom? MSN makes it very easy--check here:http://beta.chat.msn.com/
Simply click on "create a chat" and go from there (keep it unlisted so that it doesn't appear on MSN's list). Once you have it open, announce it here.

Lumen Foods chat room on Dalnet. It's hosted by Greg Caton. You can access the chat room by clicking above (or use http://www.soybean.com/chat.htm) or use an IRC chat through Dalnet, using the #Lumen_Foods channel. This chat room has been active for many months on Tuesday night at (and often before) 9 PM Central time. It's a moderated chat -- meaning that the hosts can kick people off if they become too obnoxious.
BTW, it's the chat room where the famous DD1 oil discussion was held.
