Hi all- I am interested in tracking down a magnetic stirrer to mix developer/fixer. I have searched Photographers' Formulary, Calumet, and Ebay w/ no luck. Any thoughts where I might find this item? Seems I may need to venture to a laboratory supply house of some kind. I want to make no more than a gallon of chemical sol. at a time. Thanks in advance for your help

Also try Daigger at http://www.daigger.com/ ; they seem to have a greater variety of magnetic stirrers.

I got mine (mag stirrer with heater) from eBay. Look in Scientific Instruments under Collectables.

Also look for any laboratory supplier. I know of Fisher Scientific, Berge, Lab Safety Supply, and Labmart. Most have web sites.
