There is a lesson to learn...

There is a lesson to be learned here. Two thing comes to my mind as I have watched this whole event unfold.

1.) Think about a run on the banks, or the crash of the Stock Market. The run starts and the bank/market tries to stop it. The more effort the banks/market puts forth to stop/curtain the run, the harder the run is. Sooner or later the banks/market will have to give up and let the run take it course.

2.) What we have here is a person who has escaped the realm of reality. She is over the edge. We are still in 99, how do you thank people like her will react next week after the roll over? What we are watching is the shape of things to come.

Deadly freighting events.

Bingo. She's a leading edge event.

Sundown,

I have the same concern as you. I hear people who are concerned about the preppers over reacting. It is not the preppers that scare me, it is the individuals, such as LL, who have lost it or gone over the edge that really worry me.

Her type of behavior is on the verge of psycotic. I can't help but think that alcohol has contributed to the behavior (along with fear and denial). All we we need is a bunch of drunken idiots like her on New Year's eve if there are problems. I have no doubt it will be individuals such as her that cause a lot of the people problems. I can't express how much that really worries me.

With c4i and LadyLogic disrupting the forum to such a degree these past few days, I'm guessing we're supposed to be distracted from stumbling onto something BIG occuring right now in the background. I wonder what it could be? (I don't think for a minute these are random events! It feels very staged to me. Good Cop, Bad Cop kinda' thing. Gotta' ask "Why?")

WeedWhacker,

I am new to this board. However, in the last two weeks I have spent hours and hours reading the posts. I have researched LL on this board and others. She is a very sad case. A misguided person who has directed all her efforts in the destruction of other people. It is hard to say why she pursues this course. Loneliness, inward problems, fear of the unknown, who knows. She is not only a danger to others, she is a danger to herself. She is the type I call unpredictable. When the balloon goes up, its her type to watch out for. I shutter to think about the people in large cities. I live in the country, on a large piece of land, with another place in the mountains. Man, things could get really bad. I am lucky to have such a place.

LL,

True enough, you're not going to cause any physical harm over the internet. The problem is that you are showing extreme signs of mental instability. It may be due to alcohol abuse or maybe denial and fear or possibly a combination of the three. I don't know. What I do know is that your behavior is way out of line with the norm. Maybe you can see that, maybe not. Nevertheless, if things do go bad (and of course no one knows for sure), your kind worry me. It is because of people like you that I will bug out if things do get nasty. No way do I want to be around your kind. Get help before it's too late.

Yes, the main reason I decided to prepare for Y2K is because of people like LL. I'm not as concerned about losing any of my conveniences as I am about how other people are going to react when they lose their conveniences. Her delusion that Ed is trying to control her mind is a protective mechanism from a reality which she apparently will be unable to handle should it occur. Hope FEMA has a lot of straightjackets and rubber rooms ready, because they are about to get very busy.
