We are in this together, lets pull together.

I cannot believe some of these posts, bottom line if TSHTF we are going to be the people that are more capable/prepared to assist others.

Think about this for a moment... Look around you, in the stores, at the work place etc... People are not aware of this potential nightmare!

We should start to think about and plan to assist others around us, IF it turns out that some of these predictions are accurate.

We are going to help as many people as possible, share resources and plan as best we can. How many others are thinking this way?

We have not relocated to the country. We are going through this at home, with supplies and with many surrounding neighbors that for the most part are DGI.

People will panic if major problems occur, that could be a very bad thing, you will need your neighbor, it's better to help than to turn away.

What are others doing in this regard? Talking with neighbors? Stashing extra resources? We are in a very conservative area, most of the neighborhood does not communicate, I tried about 12 months ago to start an awareness campaign and was labeled as who knows what!

From that, I explained myself and backed off. I hope this is one big mistake on our part and this turns out to be a BITR, I really do!

If some of the things that are discussed on this forum happen, people we are going to have to pull together and help each other. I do not know about you but that's my thinking at this point. What are other folks doing?? Good luck.

I agree that we have to help one another, BUT be sure you take care of you and yours first. Hate to be a touch cynical here being Christmas Eve and all, but there is a lot of food in the grocery stores, suspiciously so.

Nancy, I find it suspicious that there is food in the grocery stores as well. This is fishy. I was at Safeway this morning, and to my surpirse (and dismay) they had cleared out the tire section and replaced it with a deli. When I went to the Building Supply section they had replaced it with a bakery. Has anyone else noticed this happening at their local supermarket, or is it just in my locality?
