'Twas the night before Christmas
And all throught the forum,
Not a creature was posting -
Observing decorum...

In case I don't have the opportunity to post a Christmas wish tomorrow, I thought I'd do this tonight.

Whatever comes 8 days from now is largely irrelevant at this moment. This is a time to celebrate family and loved ones, and to praise the birth of the one who taught us that our faults and indiscretions can be forgiven.

As far as Y2k goes, the following scripture comes to mind:

"Continue to search, and you will find. Continue to knock, and the door will open for you." (Matthew 7:7)

Those of you who have followed this forum and website for a long time have been searching for an answer. I submit to you that the answer was written long ago. The faith that many of us carry will see us through the coming days, whatever those days may bring.

It's been a long, long ride. Much longer than I would have ever imagined when euy2k.com started back in early 1997. We're on the cusp of a new century, and the next week is going to be absolutely crazy with Y2k stuff. As I've asked since the beginning, make sure that you give everything you read and hear a second look.

But above all, take a pause in your worries and enjoy the next few days. Hope perseveres.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

The snow is softly falling over the Midwest, our Christmas tree lights are sparkling and our wood stove is crackling. There is peace - in our hearts, hearth and home.

Thank you for your wisdom, guidance, level-headedness and obvious concern. I've learned so much from this forum and feel like I've made some wonderful friends. (Some are a little goofy - but I won't mention any names,;)) What wonderful gifts I received from all of you - knowledge, insight, patience, compassion, empathy and selflessness.

I have a favorite scripture I'd like to add to Rick's wonderful comment - it's from the Doctrine and Covenant (Mormon scripture) section 38: verse 30 "...but if ye are prepared, ye shall not fear."

God Bless Us Everyone.

Terri
