What year was "The Bells" first published?

I have an 1881 copy, in excellent condition, published by Porter & Coates, with illustrations by multiple artists, with brown tooled leather and gilded edges. I was wondering if anyone knew an approximate value.

Well, according to "Edgar Allan Poe", by Vincent Buranelli, The Bells was first published in 1849. The edition you have was published 32 years after his death, since he also died that year.

Poe's Poem "The Bells" was first published in the November 1849 issue of Sartain's Union Magazine - of Philadelphia.
