Flash Sync Speed

I'm considering purchasing my first digital camera, I'm considering the Nikon Coolpix 950. I cannot find what the flash sync speed is, can anyone give me information on this?

A recent posting on another forum the person indicated that he was able to set his shutter speed to as a high as 1/800 on his Epson 850Z while using a flash connected to the camera's hot shoe. I just bought my Epson 850Z but I do know that I had no problem setting the shutter speed to 1/125 to stop motioin while using the external flash. While in full auto mode and internal flash the camera sets the shutter speed often to 1/90th of a second. Since the Epson has full shutter and apeture control the use of the external flash through either the hot shoe or slave flash under most conditions should be quite controllable.
