Any retired LEOs want BIG BUCK temp work?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I am a retired LEO from Los Angeles and I got this in my e-mail www.copsforhire.com $1000.00 per 8 hr shift. If you don't want to work, it sure is an eye opener anyway

Jeeeeeeeezzzzuuuusss Christmas!

If they're trying to recruit people, they are definitely using the WRONG picture on their website!

LOL!!!

Looks like they are planning on putting you in South Central L.A. in the middle of a terrorist riot zone so that you won't be around long enough to collect for your first 8 hours!

That's pretty funny Bill. Isn't this what we are paying the gubmint those Domestic Response Teams to take care of?

I see what you mean by "temp" work! Good benefits too... your first day on the job, you get to take "the BIG vacation."

Hey Flyin:

You are right! It never occurred to me that they may not have to pay those salaries. MY crummy webtv cannot cut and paste. Could someone provide a link? I think everyone should see this just to impress them with the gravity of the situation. If you read through this page you will find that it is all mixed up with "Project Meggido" It does make sense though. The regular LEOs will not be able to provide personal protection to those wealthy enough to afford it. This goes for site protectction as well as personal protection. Using retired cops also makes sense because they have concealed weapons permits already and are trained when to shoot and when not to. Big deal for the insurance companies.

So,if some shakey old dude squints at you through his coke bottle glasses and points a firearm in your direction, "RUN LIKE HELL"

Bill: WHAT is an LEO???

-- preparing (preparing@home.com), December 21, 1999.

Preparing,

Based on the context, it would seem that LEO = law enforcement officer.

Cops for Hire, on a "temporary" basis of course (that is, for as long as you survive!)
