This is the home site of Polk County Contingency Planning, and the County's Primary source for information during any Y2K issues occuring after midnight, Jan. 1st, 2000.

This site will be coordinated with the Polk County Emergency Management Department, as well as with the County Y2K Management Team.

Updates will be made to the Year 2000 Issues pages every 2 minutes, and you may select How you want the list ordered. The default is by most current.

If you would prefer E-mail notification, click the E-mail link to register to the County website. Please be aware that you may recieve a lot of notifications in the days following, and you can come back and remove your name if you like.
