Rechargable spotlight works great!greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) Preparation Forum : One Thread |
Just got my Emerson 1 million candlepower rechargable spotlight (model EHS775) and it works great. It has a trigger for easy on-off as well as a permanent on button. Will shine about a half hour per charge.Went outside at night and shined it on a big cottonwood tree about 75 yards and it lit up almost the entire tree! I could have seen an owl sitting in it. Produces a large halo of light with a concentrated beam in the center. Comes with a 12v charge adaptor.
Cost: $22.00. Team Products, 973-541-0700.

Wal-Mart, Target and other stores have them. They're much smaller (and easier to handle) than the Brinkman rechargeable spotlights. I have 4 with 3 different brand names on them (MVP, Vector and another brand I don't recall). All about $16 to $20.
