giving blood

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I was wondering if anybody else isn't going to give (donate) blood this close to the new year? I have donated 14 pints so far, the redcross is going to have to wait till after the new year for my blood,(I hope). have to keep all the red cells just in case the poop hits the fan.

I would hope that as many people as possible from this forum donate blood before and after new years. Consider my heartfelt thank you for any who can and do this gift has touched my family in the past.

Thanks for caring enough for giving the best (sort or corny but sincere).

I always feel good-as-new the day after giving, and I think that is the norm. Why hesitate so far* from the date change?

I gave last week. I dunno how long it takes to get from arm to blood bag, but I'd recommend that people keep giving as long as it's possible. The last thing we need is an artificial shortage.
