Did anyone see Tony Brown's Journal

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I only heard a little of this as it was on in the background at the barber shop and would like more details. Tony had a former FBI agent on discussing Y2K. They discussed the 3 levels of the potential problem at the rollover; Minor, Blackout and MadMax. Sounded informative and one of the more interesting discussions on the subject I have heard. I found out the show was a rebroadcast which originally aired in mid September. They also did some stuff on the black perspective vs. the white perspective. Can anyone help me out here? If the guest was selling a book I'd be interested.

Have a nice day

I did see it and did a bi-cultural report. E-mail coming your way. If I knew how to cut and paste into this forum, I would include it here.

Jimmy,

Would you cut and paste that e-mail here then when you get it? I'd like to read it, as others would I am sure.

Normally, that's ok w/you huh? cause you were gonna paste it here if you knew how?

Normally,

have to retrain my colleagues each month on how to download e-mail attachments, so if I misunderstood your quandry then I appologize, but here are some copy-and-paste instructions in case it helps:

You open your copy, pull down the "edit" menu from top menu bar, hit "select all" which will highlight the text, then under edit again select "copy", then finally put your cursor in the "answer" box of this thread, and pull down "edit" and select "paste".

PS--I suspect the black/white reaction BS is more ADL hate propaganda, but am curious to see what you've got on it...

Saw and taped the program some months ago. It was excellent, but disappointing do to the fact that our govt would use agent provocateurs in the black community; but then again, that is just what they did in Seattle. Because of the former FBI agent's (he holds a doctorate also in addition to being an author) revelations, I can now understand some of the things that go on a little better. However, it saddens me.

Tony Brown has a web site, TonyBrown.Com. I had bookmarked it after the show because he was selling the video of the PBS interview. I think it was called "Race and Y2K. However, I just checked and it appears to have been removed. If so, I'm not surprised, are you?

I live in Florida and the only other people I see in the grocery store who even look like they are prepping are nice black ladies.
