Hello, this is a story of my own misfotune with a breeder.I still have the cat because I'm very attached to him. I met a breeder at a cat show who'm I was very imprssed. She had lot's of pictures and awards from the parent's of my kitten.We talked a lot on the phone. I was all too anxious to get my kitten.When I think about it now she never once guarenteed his health,but did guarentee personality.She offered 2 for the price of 1. I was very excited.She stated how much she keeps in contact with buyers and seemed very concerned about the kitten's well being.I filled out the contract papers and sent them along with pictures.Both kittens had diarreha the whole first year I had them. I called the breeder to see if this is a problem with any of her litter's she said ,no. But she would be willing to exchange them.I could not do that, I get very attached very quickly. Anyway, I never received my contract but I have copies.And I never heard from her again. My cat now has stomatitis{gum diease}And theres not a lot that can be done for this disease.I dont know for sure if this disease is genetic.But I learned A very good lesson when it comes to buying a purebred. unfortunatly it's costing me a lot of money to care for this cat but he is my baby.
