It seems like you all want equality - so here goes. Everyone will have the right to vote for three games into the tournament. Then I will randomize the games and put the top 25 randomized games on the board for debate. After what I see in the debate will determine what games will be in our tournament. Hopefully that takes care of everyone's needs. I think the uploading rules should be simplified too. Record your game, and no more than 48 hours later you should upload it. Any debate on this pending rule?

sounds good, Did you mean you'd the best random 10 games (or how ever many will be in the tournament.) Then if there are debated disputes of those ten the disputed games would be replaced by the best undisputed games of the best random 25.

on the upload time rule, there must be a exception if the site goes down for more than a day. Perhaps if there is a marp downtime, anyone who created the recording 48 hours before the outage will be able to upload it up until 48 hours after the outage is over?

Yeah... there will be amnesty periods in case of server shutdown or whatever. That will be determined by Pat or myself.

Yeah - the first 10 games picked by old rando here would be in the tournament unless debate says otherwise. In the debate, they would have to say why one game doesn't belong in the tournament - and "I don't like that game" is NOT a good reason.
