SHAUNTI FELDHEIM COMMENT ON ECONOMYgreenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread |
December 16th, Shaunti Feldheim was on Janet Parshall's America and made a very interesting comment. She was formerly an economist with the Federal Reserve or another large government or quasi-government financial organization. Most of us have heard that in the 70s, the oil supply decrease was approximately 4%. She mentioned (at least I think I heard this right) that IT WAS CAUSED BY ONLY A FOUR-WEEK DECREASE IN THE SUPPLY. Her concern seemed to be that this time the decrease could be for a longer period with more serious outcomes. You can listen to the show (probably segment three) http://www.wava.com/jpa/cgi-bin/search.cgi

That link didn't work for me, probably because it was just a "search result". Go to the "search" page and search for "Shaunti"http://www.wava.com/jpa/se arch.shtml
BTW.. oddly I found several different spellings of her name: above you have Feldheim, but I also found it as Feldhahn, (her bio),
