WorldNetDaily and Talk Radio Network are joining forces to provide live, wall-to-wall coverage of Y2K weekend in a 48-hour marathon radio-Internet special beginning Friday, Dec. 31, at 8 p.m. Eastern time. In addition to live, up-to-the-second, 24-hour-a-day updates on all the news in WorldNetDaily, during that period, you can listen to WorldNetDaily editors, reporters and columnists breaking the news and discussing live on Talk Radio Network's national broadcasting outlets and on the Internet.

The WorldNetDaily newsroom has established a special, toll-free news hotline for Y2K weekend so readers and listeners can call in tips on developments in their communities. The special number is 1-877-318-1776. You can also call in to the radio and Internet broadcasts live at 1-800-449-8255.

Beginning on the "Minyard & Minyard" program, broadcast out of Los Angeles, WorldNetDaily Editor Joseph Farah will analyze the current events and provide an overview of expectations for the weekend. In addition, WND reporters and editors will update the broadcast team with constant news developments as warranted.

At 10 p.m. Eastern, the WorldNetDaily news team lends a hand to TRN host Roger Fredinburg. A similar format follows on the "Engelman Overnight" program.

Then at 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. Eastern time, WorldNetDaily hosts take over the TRN airwaves with live talk, chat and breaking news from the WND newsroom and reporters in the field.

Throughout the morning hours, WND reporters and editors will offer breaking news updates and interrupt regular programming on TRN's "Hidden Treasures" program and on "Auto Talk."

WorldNetDaily will also provide special guests and news updates on "Microsoft's Money Central" between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Then, hang on to your seats, as Joseph and Elizabeth Farah take over the airwaves as hosts for "WorldNetDaily Live." You'll hear many of your favorite WorldNetDaily personalities drop in for visits on this special New Year's Day presentation. Here's your chance to talk to the First Couple of the Internet about what's on your mind.

The special live marathon program schedule continues through 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2.

"Who knows what to expect?" asks Joseph Farah rhetorically about Y2K weekend. "But we'll be there to chronicle it while most of the radio world plays recorded programming. It might be chaos and pandemonium, or it might be one big party to ring in the New Year. Either way, it will be worth listening."

"...marathon radio-Internet special beginning Friday, Dec. 31, at 8 p.m. Eastern Time."

Assuming the power didn't go out at 7:00pm EST if the power grid does run on GMT. Then it might be more usefull to start the broadcast a little earlier and report on the London rollover to.
