Can't import Pro70 RAW files with Mac G3

Forum: I am using a blue/white Mac G3 which only has USB (no serial). I am using a Microtech USB reader which is plugged into the Mac. I have installed the Powershot software as supplied by the camera. I cannot open or import the raw (.crw) files via the PhotoShop 4.0 plug-in (File\Import\Canon PPC\Computer). Actually I cannot read ANY files via this plug in. I CAN open other non-.crw files via PhotoShop by just Opening them (as opposed to imported them) and the files DO copy to my computer OK from the card reader. Basically my question is: 1) With the Mac, in the "File Exchange" extension (Apple Menu\Control Panel\File Exchange\PC Exchange)I have several options. Under the the "File Type" it lists a host of names like 8BG, 8BFM, TIFF, PICT and a million others that mean nothing to me. Of course .crw is NOT an option and I have no way to add it. Suggestions for what to put here? The Pro 70 manual says the format is "CIFF" or Camera Image File Format, which is NOT an option.
