Minox chain types:
- T shape key type , push in and turn 90 degree to lock. Push/turn 90 degree to take off. Metric or inch beads corresponding to camera focusing scale. For Minox A,B,C three finishes: gold, chrome and black.
- Screw+ detachable clip, beaded. For LX/TLX/CLX. Gold/chrome/black finish. Metric/Imperial
- Chip only chain, no bead black finish. For Minox EC/ECX
- Clip on nylon loop. For EC, but can also be used on Minox LX/TLX/CLX as neck strap.
When you buy used camera, you may get a wrong chain, any one of these chain may be tossed in to make the package looks complete. If you have hard time attaching your chain to the camera, it is more likely you get a wrong chain. Some times you may get a beadless clip chain to go with your LX. Or you may get a chrome chain with screw but no beads nor clip to go along with your caseless LX package-- the chain was a Rollei chain.
