Minolta dc-10 scsi reader

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

The Minolta dc-10 scsi pcmcia card reader sounds like it might be a great input option; it is also a lot cheaper than other scsi options that seem available. On the other hand, Minolta seems to have disowned it (I've searched their websites on four continents without luck). My main worry right now (barring other bad information anyone may have) is compatibility with Windows NT, which is my platform of choice. Microtech claims that their scsi readers are Windows NT compatible through whatever scsi drivers you happen to have on your machine. But Microtech's scsi products are more than double the price of the Minolta.

Can anyone out there vouch for success with the Minolta dc-10 on a WinNT platform?

Yes, It's a great device, but now that I have updraded to XP I can't find the driver for it. Like you said, it seems Minolta has dropped it.
