Planitarchis, Ruler of the World!

I thought this was - mucho interesting. I mean, everyone on this site knows him as mild-mannered Bill Jefferson Clinton from Arkansas. But The Greeks call him the Planitarchis, Ruler of the World.!!!Wow.

I'm not making this up. I was over at Gary's place tonight, hangin' out, and he's got this post under Martial Law(yeah, that Gary). He calls it: "Seattle's Lesson: Why Wise Men Will Stay Off the Streets In A Time of Crisis". It refers to an article taken from a site called emperor's-clothes.com. The article is called Collateral Damage In Seattle by Jim Desyllas.

He states, in this article:"Today they started mass arrests. That was because Clinton - the Greeks call him the Planitarchis, Ruler of the World - was coming."

Man. I sure am glad I read that. I don't know if there's ever been a leader ANYwhere, that has been called "Ruler of the World". ....

Considering that Beelezebubba made the TOP 5 list of most hated men of the 20th century , right up there with Hitler(not to be confused with Beelezebubba's betrothed, Hitlary), I would think the Geeks could have come up with a far LESS flattering name for him.

Now you got me laughing. Was he Really? I have to say that, in some strange way, I am 'impressed'. I'm not sure if that's the right word, but that sure is a mighty sounding title. I guess I've never thought of him in quite that way before. And to think that the Rest of the world sees him as Ruler of the World. In this day and time.

Beg your pardon, but a mistake has been made. The title of Leader of the World aka Planitarchis, is held by Globachev. Wm. Jefferson Klitoris is anly a temporary Steward of the throne.

Eh, no offense, but I don't think Gorbechev(sorry I messed up your name)is long for this world. But the title could go to the OTHER bore - I mean Gore. (it's those b's and g's) (I just love Sat.night/Sun morn, isn't that right?)

well, I'm still mulling this one over. I wonder if Gary North read what he put up. Cause to me it is awesome news, for some reason. I will never forget this for the rest of my life. I bet even Nero wasn't called anything like that. And even if he was, the world was so much smaller then...There is something significant here.

Hey, Bill, I'm impressed. For want of a better word.

Nice touch, Doorbaby: apologizing directly to Gorbachev for mispelling his name in a sentence where you say he hasn't got long for this world! Think he'll be really upset about the spelling in his last days, eh?

Yeah, Sara, is that tact, or what. Sorry I just got over here again. I been busy. Man, I sure hate that Real Life keeps rearing its ugly head and interfering with my computer addiction(grin). I guess maybe it's something we should all get used to.

Hi Bill!
