alternative to high blood pressure medicine?

My partner has been taking prinivil for high blood pressure. Was planning to get 3 month mail order prescription written at last Dr's visit. Doc decided to switch medicines and monitor to see if that made any difference. Now we can't get 3 month supply because the doctor is experimenting with changing medicines. Any suggestions as to natural remedies to use if we can't get prescriptions filled? This really put a kink in our plans...

Much more aerobic exercise, less salt, less fat intake, remove stress- causing situations/people from your life as much as possible, lose a LOT of weight (get down to a maximum of 2 lbs./inch of height for a male, 10-15% less for a female). This ought to help.

Two things garlic three times a day and black caynne pepper do a beautiful job at reducing bp. Garlic is the easiest and belive me it works. My mom is 92 and her bp is 110/70 was on meds. Eight years ago I put her on garlic the soft gels. She doesnt need bp meds.

An Iranian doctor who was put in prison during the Kohmeny years, experimented with the high blood pressure problem, since there was no medicine in prison. He had all the prisoners who had high blood pressure dring about 3 quarts of water per day. All who participated were able to lower their blood pressure to normal range. The doc said we don't drink enough and that makes the arteries shrink and that is why you get high blood pressure. If you ever get thirsty, you are dehydrated. Drink more water and you'll overcome many health problems.

Marijuana lowers blood pressure, there's abundant medical info on it through the government's rabid attempts to show the good herb as harmful.Still not one know death in all medical history but it definatly does lower b.p.

Poster above is correct. Water! Water! Water! I watched a tape by Lorraine Day M.D. on cancer and other cures to the human body. Water will cure so much. Had my blood pressure checked 3 weeks ago, was 165/85 low for me. Five days before physical drank half of my body weight in ounces 110#= 55 ounces of water. Was 128/78. Dr. wanted to know what I was doing different. Said drinking above. Can't be! He said. Was suppose to have a 2nd doppler test done on right artery as 6 months ago showed slowness (some blocking based upon his hearing the sound in the neck and a doppler. He post poned it for 6 months. WARNING!! If you currently take blood pressure medicine, increase your water consumption slowly, as it can do damage. Blood pressure can drop too low, too quick. It works, except Dr. doesn't believe me. I feel 100% better. Try it before you knock it.
