Whiz, I hope you are being sarcastic. If not, this is the stupidest thing I've ever read (since reading the Decker, Flint, polly stuff yesterday). Or is this troll, polly crap? To say that we are in an extreme survival situation is true. To say that people will turn on their children and parents is not generally applicable (although there are always low beings who will do so). To say that God's laws are abrogated is obvious madness.

Whiz, you don't know the difference between free will and anarchy. Free will doesn't trample the free will of others. Your whole missive reflects a terrible confusion about that. You are programmed and there is a major logic flaw in the code. In fact, I might stretch this commentary to an analogy that your program reflects Lucifer type thinking, which might explain why you have a major problem with God.

Only the strong survive and what will they wake up to each morning? I think the strong will eventually go insane. Because without God there is no hope, no faith, no spirit, no nothing. Anyone can take away a life, but you cannot take away their soul. During the black death of 1300's, some areas of europe suffered in excess of 75% casualties. Most people thought they were witnessing the end of the world. This great plague came at the tail end of 3 years of failed harvests. In the decades previous to this calamity, europe as a whole was going through an economic boom. some cities in europe have yet to reach their pre-plague levels of population and prosperity.

To say that something like that cannot happen again is frankly wrong. Populations of people die off, great empires are brought low, sudden changes do happen. How they happen is the stuff of circumstances (war, disease, failure of infrastructure, famine, economic collapse).

Eyewitness accounts of the black death tend to dwell on how people treated each other during that time. parents abandoning children, spouses leaving those afflicted to die, murder, theivery, rioting, revelry. It is repeated in accounts of societal collapse all throughout history.

We look to yugoslavia and say "how terrible for such a thing to happen". This used to be the vacation mecca for eastren europe during the cold war, a kind of french rivera (sp?). now it is the charnel house of the east.

I don't want calamitys like this in my lifetime. But yet we must prepare for them if possible.

dude, one of the reasons why people think there is no god is because he doesn't behave the way they think he should, so when they don't see the expected behavior, they say, "ooops, no god". well, SORRY. but i have met him and he is INCREDIBLE. HE SHOWED ME WHO HE IS and it was nothing like i thought it should be, nor is he a bunch of rules. he has boundaries and commands and principles but they are for our blessing. just ask him to show you HIMSELF and be willing and humble.
