Operation Millenium??

I am an attorney in North Carolina and we represent alot of apartment complexes. We had an apartment manager call today wanting to know if he had to let an Army Reserve member out of his lease because the guy had been called to active duty. The guy is on the medical support team for the 5th Division?? at Ft. Bragg. The apartment manager faxed over the Orders the tenant provided to substantiate his request to terminate his lease. The Orders were from the Department of Defense calling this guy to active duty beginning December 29th and ending at an "undetermined" time for "Operation Millenium". The guy was to be paid for a 15-day period, with further pay to be determined. I saw these Orders myself and they were real. Has anyone else heard of "Operation Millenium" or what the purpose of it is?

Operation Millenium

sounds lame....are we sure this guy didnt make this up on his home computer?

I guess it could be real, but I find it hard to believe the military would send orders out with something entitled "Operation Millenium".

hmmm...interesting if true

It might be a good idea to let him out of the lease if the operation is geared towards martial law, it always pays to not make enemies of the guys with the big guns.

Dookie,

Wow, close to my home...I'm here on the South side of VA. Yesterday I saw my first white buses with green/cammie drivers, pulling into Newport News Shipbuilding. The sky looks like helter skelter (chemtrails?). Time to fasten our seatbelts boys and girls...

Yeah but its definitely got a nicer ring than "Operation Armageddon"

Besides, how more surreal can things get when we're now seeing posts "To Dookie" "From Hokie". Sounds Kookie.

Sorry -- I'm not that computer literate. Do you have any specific questions about it? There are alot of codes and abbreviations in the specifics of the Order that I don't understand.

The overall Army plan is named "Millennium Passage", though there could be regional sideshows.
