WHFS FM taking action this morning!!!!!!

WHFS FM (Baltimore/Washington) is, as of this moment 8:43 A.M., discussing the ramifications of Y2K and congressmen Horn's report. Their phone lines are so busy that I nor any of my associates can get through. They are taking anonymous phone calls from all sectors of local, national, and international business as well as sectors of the government. Most if not the majority of the calls have not yielded good news from all sectors. One caller was from the DOD and did not sound like a happy camper. KUDOS to WHFS FM!!!!! It's about time.

E.C. Bill,

I heard it too. The DJ's sounded a little frantic. Did you happen to catch the part where they said that the radio station was only "50- 50" in terms of preparation, went to a commercial break, then came back and said "...just kidding, we're 100% ready"? Sounds like somebody ripped them a new a-hole during the break to me.

This is like watching a slow motion traffic accident. Nothing to do now but keep prepping 'till the end, then go out swinging. Good luck to you, E.C.B.

Talked to a company owner last weekend who said they are 85% done. What he meant was that they started working on 85% of the computers. 15% of the computers havent even been evaluated yet. ALL are critical computers, they arent even working on the so called non-critical machines.

Finally ... (I think) ... with only 23 days to go, the herd is finally starting to Get It, en masse.

It may not be pretty....

Does this station archive/record shows? Sounds like a 'must hear'!

Please, tell us more about what you heard...

Of course "anonymous" calls can be dismissed by many as having come from doomers pretending to be something they are not....
