Minnestoans: St. Paul Pioneer Press wants to talk to you...

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I have been in contact with a reporter from the St. Paul Pioneer Press. This guy interviewed me last summer, and he presented a balanced article on Y2K. (I even got my picture in the paper! WooHoo!!)

Anyway, this reporter wants to interview other Minnesotans who are "GI". You'll be treated well, and your confidentiality is assured.

His info:

Rick Shefchik 651-228-5577 rshefchik@pioneerpress.com

BTW, he gets laughed at for his Y2K work too, so he's a kindred spirit. PLEASE contact him. Let him know that I referred you to him... (I get NO $'s!)

Dennis,

Are you a few others the only GI's in Minnesota?

It seems so...

Dennis- Are you aware of the ridiculous "special" Y2K insert the Star Tribune published a couple of weeks ago? I am very happy to see the Pioneer Press taking a more responsible stance. I would be glad to share my views with this guy. Thanks!

Yeah, and we both laughed at the editorial (and it may have been published in the Press) about the "alarmist" brochures that were sent out. He thought that article was a real hoot!
