I like the balance of the two leaves and the contrasting colors. The twig(s) in the background is sort of annoying, though. I only have one question--why are two of the holes white instead of blue?

Why the white holes? I don't know. I noticed that also. I think something ate away the top layer and left some thin, light filament. If I were building original pshop art, I would probably fill it in with cloned blue sky; but here, I knew I would be hanged.

I suspect that the white areas are insect eggs. The holes obviously show blue sky. The white areas obviously are not holes. The white area might also be some sort of lichen, but form the shape, I suspect they are insect eggs.
