Colorado government has not used YOUR MONEY to make accurate assessments of major utilities and services to citizens.

Colorado government HAS used your money for a bunker for govt. to "monitor" during the rollover ("can stay in bunker more than month").

How many other state and Fed bunkers did YOUR MONEY build FOR THEM?

Preps: Got bunker? We are all in this together. Tonto's response=We who white man?

Don't cross the beams, don't go to the light, don't board the white bus, don't eat the yellow snow. So much to remember.

Several states have bunkers for the "non-event".

Folks, let's put bunkers in perspective.

FIRST: MANY of them are refurbished Civil Defense Command Posts built in the 1950's and 1960's.

SECOND: These HAPPEN to have been built as bunkers because of the nuclear threat then. They were NOT built as bunkers today, just refurbed because they were THERE and gathering dust.

I was wondering if there might be a way to list/tally how many states have mentioned having a "bunker". I remember Ohio and I seem to recall mention of one in Missouri. Would be interesting to see the 'states' Y2K contingency plans ala bunkers for the guvs. I am blessed to live in Colorado and am reassured that our Guv is gonna be safe! Oh, and his friends of course!

Hitler had a BUNKER. Did not help him much though.

The St.Louis County Police Department has a bunker (you can get the address from their website) and it is indeed a refurbished bomb shelter. I was in it back in the '70s--wonderfully creepy place back then--lots of communication equipment, bunk beds and water barrels.

GOOD! Chance to start anew! Let them get inside and lock the doors...then use a bulldozer to cover the damn thing over! Park the dozer in front and leave it on top of the bloody doors!

Remember...bulldozers don't use chips!
