WILL JESUS SPARE UNBELIEVERS AFTER Y2K?

No!

Our pastor gave a good sermon today on y2k we been preparring for some time in our congregation. The signs are all there, wars in places no one has heard of before, earthquakes and disese everywhere, crime soaring, an economy in a tailspin from evil leaders shipping our jobs overseas for their own profit, a society that is complete amoral and no longer follows God Who Is In Heaven. Plus there are all the new socalled religions who dont follow jesus, plus the jews and catholics and mormons controlling the government, plus our own leader and dictator "president" fornicating in house of God, all these things were predicted in the Bible the End Times are here.

y2k is the last sign, 2000 years from Jesus accesion to heaven, and how the socalled technology of ours that has mocked God is about to unravel into a million threads. you see it everywhere has this society is about to die.

True Christians need not fear as Jesus will come and lift us to heaven as it is written. This will happen Jan 1st, 2000, it is there in the Bible, no more need be explained. Are you ready? Have you renounced God for foreign religions? Have you traded God for "science" nonsense evolution and liberalism?

Those who have will soon be burning in hell as the great Y2k holocaust destroys this evil society. But if you throw yourself to Gods tender mercy He may spare you no matter what your sins.

No matter what, be prepared for next month! Time for an accounting! I wish all men of Christ well in this time of danger.

Ben, I am a saved, born again Christian. I believe that WHEN Christ returns, I will go to heaven. However, the Bible tells us that NO MAN knows the hour of His coming. He will come as a thief in the night. A friend of mine has stated that by telling people that the Lord will return on 1/1/00 just sets non-believers up for seeing another "so-called" prophecy unfilled.

Also, I have Jewish and Catholic friends are devoted Christians, so that's not fair to lump them into the mix of the lost just because they're Jewish or Catholic.

I believe with all my heart the Lord will return some day. I just don't believe that He will do it when everyone expects Him to.

It really greives me to read posts such as this, because they show the utter lack of intelligence and wisdom DEMANDED in the scriptures.

First of all, Christ cannot possibly return on January 1, 2000. There are major world wide events that must first occur. Read Thesolonians with great care and Revelations. Antichrist MUST first come. The persecution of the saints occurs first, before the expected return of Christ.

I am well aware of ongoing persecution around the world, but American Christians have yet to be truly persecuted. This will happen and soon.

ANYBODY that thinks they can DEMAND or imply that Christ is going to return on January 1, 2000 is a fool or an idiot, I don't care what kind of title they hang onto their name. There are yet several years of serious persecution ahead of us - whoever you are, whatever you are. Wise Christians are particularly aware of this fact.

As for Mormons, Catholics and Jews controlling the government, get real. These are all occultic religions and are not the true power brokers in the world today, although they do influence many ignorant people (tens of millions). There is indeed a sinister and evil force at work in the world today and particularly America. America's destiny is BABYLON, the modern day Babylon of the Bible and she will be utterly destroyed.

American Christians will be wise to read and study Jeremiah 51 & 52 for this proof. The secret societies and sinister plots to destroy the United States are well advanced and underway, Christians must know when to "come out of her my people".

I would advise any who are seeking truth without disortion, to "unplug" from the current mainstream media and deceptive teachings of the modern church. You will never find the truth unless you first receive a love for the truth and seek to know what it is with all your heart, mind and soul.

The internet is an international marketplace of ideas. Whatever your "religion" may be, you do not have a corner on decency and certainly not on compassion.

Many of us read the Bible regularly. By way of establishing some credentials, I do read it, cover to cover, with footnotes, each year. Some problematical areas, I have read in 8 translations. No brag, just fact from a (not always so) humble student.
As was previously mentioned, not all of the Biblical requirements have been met (yet) for the second coming. As was also mentioned, some of them seem to be happening now... One major set of precursors was to be the plagues; another precursor was the mark of the beast. If we see Christians who refuse to take the mark of the beast being denied the right to engage in commerce, we will see a major indicator. You might want to consider how you could pay rent, mortgage, food bills, heating costs, automobile costs, TAXES, etc. However, has anyone throught seriously that Y2K preparations might be what get some of us through a period of not being able to buy or sell on the open market? It is an interesting thought...
