What are you 3 (+/- 2) favorite websites? Why?

Oh, I'll go first. As I say on Medley, two of my favorite sites are http://www.3rdwwwave.com (I've now met 3 of the authors... they're fabulous people and I agree with probably 80-90% of what they say) and http://www.religioustolerance.org, which is just an amazing reference site.

Besides my own? (Of course it's my favorite, I made it for me!):

Mouthorgan, because it gets me thinking and lets me air my ideas. Although it's undergoing a change, and while I have huge faith in Todd and Debbie I don't know if it'll have all of the attributes I cite it for now.

Marylaine Block's writing and efforts. She doesn't always nail it, but she often gets me thinking, and she's even got a web log, although she doens't call it that.

photo.net, because it has Travels with Samantha and Web Tools Review.

And Nibelung, because without it checking on my favorite web logs daily would be a huge hassle.

Well the three web sites I like is Lyns weblog. The other two well the Blue Mountain Arts Electronic Greeting cards site because I like to send cards to my family and friends and they love it. The other one is shockwave because it has a lot of games for the kids to play plus of course I play them too!

My favorite site is my own site, because it has all my favorite things on it - pictures of my favorite places, useful / informative / entertaining links, etc, so I make use of it every day. I made it for my own amusement and pleasure, and it does amuse and please me, so from my POV, it's a smashing success! :)

Aside from that, there are so many interesting and useful sites out there, it's impossible to choose just a few. I hate playing favorites anyway - my faves change from week to week, so I really don't have any other than my own that remain constant.
