If I were to spray the entire country with whatever, I would do it at NIGHT ! Can't see vapor trails at night now can we? We have enough to worry about without this silly stuff!!!

Wait, let's not get logical here! We must ignore the fact that the "Government" these people distrust is made up of Americans, too, millions of them in fact, just like themselves. Don't you see, if you can't disprove these folks, then they are right, get it? What about the surveys that show many Americans think they've been systematically probed by aliens over the years? Do they mean to tell us that not one of these folks ever thought to hook up hidden surveillance equipment, and catch these aliens on their periodic visits? I've worked in the surveillance field - it's beyond me how we can't get the pictures, if these dudes are coming back all the time.

They probably fly in the daytime so they can see where they've been and where to make the next trail.

Tom, I live 20 miles from 7 naval bases, as well as a multitude of other mil sites including NASA Langley. We seem to get sprayed at night, if that's what this thick yellow surreal fog is around here. Perhaps there is not enough time to spray everyone at night.

Settle down now idiots, and THINK... there are a hell of a lot more people out breathing our special flavored air during the daylight hours than there are after dark, when they are all snuggled up in their little beddies.

They could care less if you see them. Most people are so caught up in their materialistic pursuits that they never even look at the sky, and if by some fluke they happen to look up, they are so stupid that they don't know the difference between a cloud and a contrail.

Hawk, and I got proof of that today, from my extended family....real casually brought up the question, describing it and emphasizing that they are lower and thicker than normal and don't dissapate in 45 min. They all argued with me that they are normal contrails and I kept saying why they aren;t, and they all admitted they couldn't remember seeing such a thing.

Thing is, first time I really noticed it, I realized I had seen it before and thought, "Oh, how pretty!" Sheesh. I assured them they had probably seen it and just thought nothing of it, as I had. I didn't even mention the word "chemtrails" to them.

Also, Tom, ever heard of hiding in plain sight?

All us Americans are too busy rushing to work and yakkin on our cell phones to look up and notice, anyway!

They are doing it at night. Just have to be up at 3 a.m. to watch 'em. I do chores from 3 - 4 a.m. every day before heading to work and have been watching the night fliers leaving their nasties overhead for about two months now. They have started criss-cross patterns at about 4 p.m. everyday for the past week in NE Indiana.

I have seen these thatch patterns myself over the past several years. Now, I live close to a huge airport. They land planes on each of two runways every few minutes. At night, you can see them lined up 5 deep and two abreast. I always presumed these planes made the long parallel contrails of the thatch. Wind drift would make the next pair look like two additional contrails parallel to the first trails.

I have also flown in commercial flights that circled the airport due to delays. I presumed that these circling planes that made contrails perpendicular to those produced by the planes that were on a landing approach.

There are really so many planes landing day and night at this airport that I really cannot believe that whole bunch of additional evil black planes would go unnoticed on air controller radars and unnoticed by other pilots. The skies are just too crowded. It would be so obvious and noted by so many people that just word-of-mouth would have produced much better info than is currently available. In fact, I know several pilots, and they just laugh at me when I discuss chemtrails.

I have to believe the obvious explanation: these thatch patterns are just produced by a mix of planes on landing approach and planes circling the airport. Continued speculation destroys this forum's credibiity much more thoroughly than the machinations of any polly.

Sincerely,

Here's a officially sanctioned picture of a C-130H spraying at Parris Island. The picture is captioned on this page. The caption reads:
"A specially modified C-130H from Youngstown Air Reserve Base, Ohio, sprays pesticide over Marine Corps boot camp on Parris Island, South Carolina, to combat biting midges. The 910th Airlift Wing trains in peacetime to fulfill their wartime commitment that began back in World War II, when legions of American GIs fell victim to malaria and dengue fever, diseases spread by mosquitoes. Aerial spraying enables large parcels of land to be treated quickly, accurately and cheaply." Tom,

How do you know they aren't spraying at night as well as during the day?
